The Rubix cube has been a poular game for many years. It is composed of 56 primary colored squares, three of which are featured here. Deep, black lines mark the boundary of each square and allow for the mechanism's movement.

This cocktail dress, from Yves Saint Laurent's Fall/Winter 1965 Collection, closesly resembles a Rubix cube. The garment is composed of the same colors--red, white, yellow (which can not be seen on the Rubix cube photo), and a blue-green. The heavy, black lines come to multiple intersections and divide the color blocks, much like on the popular gadget.
