Armani Prive vs Crescent

This image is of Neptune and Triton creating a crescent phase in 1989 (astronet.ru). Its curved lines meet at a sharp point at the top and the bottom of the crescent. The light on the planet creates a warm glow.

This ensemble, from Armani Prive's Spring 2010 Collection, uses lines to create crescent closures on the front of the top. Unlike the other crescent though, the shapes on the top are black instead of glowing with light. The designer incorporated extreme curves in this design compared to a real crescent.
